Modern Warfare 2; aka, the impossible tournament game

(I put this in the Console section, but it applies to PC as well)

So at risk of divulging some unconfirmed info, I need some opinions here.

We've been trying to come up with a ruleset for CoD MW2 tournaments. Rules are the easy part. The problem we have is, on PC and Console, there doesn't seem to be a way to disable experience gain.

Now, on PC this may not be as much of an issue; people play with their own profiles, and anyone competing will probably have everything unlocked anyway. But on Console (360, specifically) its functionally impossible. If we have a tournament setup similar to NM LANfest's next time (which we probably will) we would have to wipe each profile after each match to keep the playing field level, since there doesn't seem to be any way to enter a code to unlock everything. If that's the case, then the tournament would have very strict limitations, i.e., default classes (all 3 or 5 or whatever of them, yippie)

They didn't seem to build this game to cater at ALL to competition. But, since its the new big thing, we don't want to give up on it just yet as an option.

Anyone have any feedback? How could it be used in a balanced, fair format for competition, on PC and Console, if at all? It would make a great headline game for NM LANfest in May.....

Thanks in advance,
Cobalt

It's going to be difficult on both sides because they striped the PC version down to that of a console. For the old version we would run a mod called ProMod which enabled/disabled some features of the game to make it balanced. With this mod it kinda turned COD into CSS but with bigger maps and no money.

My only thought is to unlock everything just like Brawl and go from there or as you suggested is to play with the limited selection.
